Kandis Garland, RDH, MS, is an assistant professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Idaho State University, Pocatello, as well as health and safety coordinator and clinical coordinator for first-year dental hygiene students. Her research, which she presents nationally, focuses on infection control. Garland is also a member of Dimensions of Dental Hygiene’s Peer Review Panel.
