Michele P. Carr, RDH, MA, is an associate professor emeritus and former chair of the Division of Dental Hygiene at The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry in Columbus. With more than 30 years of experience in private practice and dental hygiene education, she has presented and published nationally and internationally. Carr has also been involved nationally serving on numerous committees for the American Dental Education Association, American Dental Hygienists’ Association, and Commission on Dental Accreditation.

Rachel Kearney, RDH, MS, is an associate professor in the Division of Dental Hygiene at Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus, where she teaches courses on ethics and professionalism. Henry’s research interests include the impact of social media on dental education and dentinal hypersensitivity associated with tooth whitening. She is treasurer of the Ohio Dental Hygienists’ Association and a delegate to the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
