Dimensions of Dental Hygiene has added three highly regarded oral health professionals to its Editorial Advisory Board—Wayne A. Aldredge, DMD; Colleen M. Brickle, RDH, RF, EdD; and Anne E. Gwozdek, RDH, BA, MA.
Aldredge is currently vice president of the American Academy of Periodontology and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in Stony Brook, New York. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he also maintains a private periodontal practice in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Brickle is the dean of Health Sciences at Normandale Community College in Minnea – polis. An advocate for furthering the profession of dental hygiene through legislation in her home state of Minnesota, she is actively involved in health care policy reform, with most of her efforts directed at the oral health practitioner legislation.
Gwozdek is a clinical assistant professor and director of the dental hygiene degree completion and graduate programs at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor. She has served in leadership positions within the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the American Dental Education Association.
