High COVID-19 Vaccination Rates Among California Dentists and Dental Hygienists

In the “Golden State,” 94% of all licensed dentists are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to a survey by the California Dental Association and the California Department of Public Health. Conducted between May 26 and June 8, the survey found a much higher level of confidence in COVID-19 vaccines among the state’s dentists than the general United States population. Of the 700 respondents, 92% noted they were vaccinated as soon as COVID-19 immunizations became available. The survey also showed that eight out of 10 oral health professionals, including dental hygienists, are also fully vaccinated. Click here to read more.
