Vilma Cordero, MHSc, BAS, RDH, is a clinical instructor at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, North Carolina, and a practicing dental hygienist. She has more than 13 years of experience in private, general dental practice and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, American Dental Education Association, and American Academy for Oral Systemic Health. Cordero currently serves as trustee for a local component of the North Carolina Dental Hygienists’ Association.
