After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Recognize determinants of health for the transgender community.
  2. Apply dental hygiene management to provide patient-centered care for the transgender patient.
  3. Identify risk factors for systemic conditions for trans men and women.
  4. Identify pharmacological interventions for transgender people.
