Christina Calleros, RDH, MS, is an assistant professor and junior clinic
coordinator in the Division of Dental Hygiene at the University of New
Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque where she teaches dental health education
and preclinical seminars. She has extensive clinical practice in private
practice, public health, and school-based settings. Calleros’ research
interests include health literacy, faculty calibration, and cultural competency.
