Survey Identifies States with the Best and Worst Oral Health
A new WalletHub survey that compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 26 key indicators of oral health to determine where people have the healthiest teeth and gingiva ranks Wisconsin as the state with the best oral health, and Mississippi with the worst.
A new WalletHub survey that compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 26 key indicators of oral health to determine where people have the healthiest teeth and gingiva ranks Wisconsin as the state with the best oral health, and Mississippi with the worst.
The top five states are Wisconsin, Illinois, District of Columbia, Minnesota, and Connecticut. Mississippi, West Virginia, Arkansas, Montana, and Louisiana came in as states with the worst oral health.
In comparing the number of adults who visited the dentist in the past year, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and the District of Columbia made up the list of the top five states with the highest percentage. Whereas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, West Virginia, and Mississippi had the lowest percentage of adults who visited the dentist in the past year.
