LaTesha McLee, MSDH, RDH, is an associate professor in the Dental Hygiene Program at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, where she serves as the junior year clinical coordinator. Additionally, she is the course director for dental hygiene theory 1, community oral health promotion, and dental public health II. McLee can be reached at mcleel@vcu.edu .


Gabby Hutchinson, BA, is a project empower advocate for Virginia Commonwealth University Trauma Center’s Injury and Violence Prevention Program in Richmond. She has several years of experience working in domestic violence centers and for the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance. Hutchinson’s passion for transformative justice informs her work with survivors of intimate partner and gender-based violence.
