Gabby Hutchinson, BA, is a project empower advocate for Virginia Commonwealth University Trauma Center’s Injury and Violence Prevention Program in Richmond. She has several years of experience working in domestic violence centers and for the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance. Hutchinson’s passion for transformative justice informs her work with survivors of intimate partner and gender-based violence.
Intimate partner violence often leaves its clearest signs on the head, neck, and mouth, making oral health professionals uniquely positioned to help patients experiencing abuse.
