The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Final Rule – Effluent Limitations Guidelines and Standards for the Dental Category was scheduled for publication in the Federal Register on January 27, 2017. On January 20, 2017, the Office of the White House Press Secretary issued a freeze on all regulations submitted for publication and published, but not yet in effect. The freeze includes the dental effluent limitation guidelines, and is for 60 days pending review by the new Presidential Administration.
