Four New Codes Introduced to Treat Sleep Apnea

Beginning January 1, 2024, dental providers will have four additional Current Dental Terminology (CDT) codes that can be used for reimbursement related to the treatment of sleep apnea in the dental setting. The new codes cover screening for sleep apnea, home sleep apnea tests, and fabrication, delivery, and titration of oral appliances used to address sleep apnea.
