A Tesla driver in Oakville, Ontario, was cited for careless driving because he was using both hands to floss his teeth while driving on autopilot at 84 mph.
The incident, shared on twitter by Sergeant Kerry Schmidt of Ontario Provincial Police, involved a driver who was relying on Tesla’s driver-assist system.
This is not the first time a driver has been cited for misuse use of Tesla’s autopilot feature. Past incidents include drivers who used autopilot while drunk, and asleep behind the wheel.
