EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Identify the components of interprofessional education and collaboration.
  2. Discuss the barriers to implementing interprofessional education.
  3. Identify the core competencies of interprofessional education.
  4. Provide examples of academic programs within dental hygiene and dentistry that are implementing interprofessional education.
