EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Explain the process of three-dimensional (3D) printing within the field of dentistry.
  2. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of 3D printing when compared with conventional techniques.
  3. Discuss the incorporation of 3D printing technology into various dental procedures such as orthognathic surgeries, oral and maxillofacial procedures, surgical guide fabrication for implants, and the design of certain prosthetics.
