Kaitlin Stier, RDH, MPH, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting at NYU College of Dentistry. She serves as the dental hygiene group practice clinic coordinator and the clinic course director for first year dental hygiene students, preventive dentistry and public health, and oral health education. Stier also works in private practice and is the founder and head of the Kaitlin M. Stier Smile for Life Foundation, which provides free preventive oral health services to children.
With a growing aging population across the United States, oral health professionals are charged with helping this vulnerable population prevent dental disease and improve oral health.
