Recipient of Prestigious Award to be Announced

Dimensions of Dental Hygiene, along with premier sponsor Colgate and supporting sponsors Patterson Dental and PDT Inc, will present the ninth annual The Esther Wilkins Lifetime Achievement Award during the American Dental Hygienists’ Association’s 95th Annual Session in Columbus, Ohio. Presentation of this prestigious award—which recognizes an individual for his or her consistent and effective contributions to the enrichment of the dental hygiene profession—will take place at the Hilton Columbus Downtown Hotel on June 22 during a reception in the winner’s honor. Past recipients of The Esther Wilkins Lifetime Achievement Award include the award’s namesake, the late Esther M. Wilkins, BS, RDH, DMD; Maxine Alper Tishk, RDH, MS; Gail N. Cross- Poline, RDH, MS; the late Michele Leonardi Darby, BSDH, MS, and the late Margaret Walsh, RDH, MS, MA, EdD; Juanita S. Wallace, RDH, PhD; JoAnn R. Gurenlian, RDH, MS, PhD; Pamela R. Overman, RDH, MS, EdD; and Olga A.C. Ibsen, RDH, MS, FAADH.
