Southern California-based BIOLASE Inc recently announced that its Epic Pro™ Diode Laser System has received 510(k) clearance for commercial distribution from the United States Food and Drug Administration. The system incorporates significant advancements in cutting speed, control, and precision, as well as improved consistency and predictability. The Epic Pro Diode Laser System is the first system developed under the company’s strategic development agreement with IPG Medical Corp.
