Study Finds Nearly 30% of Those Recovered From COVID-19 Experience Enduring Symptoms
In a Danish study of more than 150,000 people who have recovered from COVID-19, 29.6% reported still experiencing at least one symptom 6 months to 12 months after the infection was cleared. None of the study sample required hospitalization during their bout with COVID-19 illness. The most frequently reported lingering symptoms were alteration to taste and smell and fatigue.
