FDA Acts Against Company Selling Products With Fraudulent COVID-19 Claims

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning letter on September 10 to Pharmacy Plus Inc for fraudulently claiming its products are helpful against COVID-19. The company makes “COVID PACK” and “COVID ‘POSITIVE’ PACK,” which make claims that these products “mitigate, prevent, treat, diagnose, or cure COVID-19.” The FDA asked the company to immediately remove these products from consumer shelves, and asserts that there are currently no products approved for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19.
