BISCO Adds New Flavors to its Line of FluoroCal 5% Sodium Fluoride Varnish with Tri-Calcium Phosphate
BISCO, Schaumburg, Illinois, is excited to announce the launch of two new FluoroCalTM flavors: Bubblegum and Green Apple. Both new flavors are available for purchase along with FluoroCal’s original and refreshing Spearmint flavor. All flavors are sweetened with xylitol, ensuring better patient compliance.
FluoroCal is a fluoride- and calcium-releasing varnish that is applied to enamel and dentin for the treatment of hypersensitivity. FluoroCal delivers targeted and sustained release of calcium and fluoride for more than 24 hours (tested in deionized water) and provides immediate sensitivity relief by penetrating and sealing dentin tubules.
Additionally, FluoroCal contains tri-calcium phosphate (TCP), which may help strengthen enamel and build more acid-resistant mineral when combined with fluoride.
FluoroCal flavors can be purchased individually in 50 count unit dose packages as well as a 48 count variety pack containing 16 unit doses of each flavor. All unit-dose containers contain a brush to apply the varnish, allowing for fast and easy application.
