Baseball and Prophys: A Winning Combination

Baseball typically conjures up warm summer evenings and the smell of hot dogs cooking, as opposed to dental care, but the Milwaukee Brewers flipped the switch on June 27 when they hosted a free dental clinic at American Family Field. The event enabled more than 250 children who are part of the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee to receive free prophylaxes and oral examinations. Hosted by Brewers Community Foundation, SKYGEN, and TeamSmile, the free dental clinic was designed to give kids, many of whom have never visited a dental office before, a positive dental experience. The Brewers Community Foundation encompasses Brewers fans and players who are committed to positively impacting the lives of children and their families in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin. SKYGEN is healthcare platform focused on assisting specialty benefit payers and government agencies responsible for the delivery and administration of specialty benefits. TeamSmile provides children in need with a life-changing dental experience through the power of sports. Click here to read more.
