Victoria M. Benvenuto, RDH, EdM, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting at New York University College of Dentistry in New York City. She is the assistant director of dental hygiene clinical operations and the course director for periodontics and clinic for second-year dental hygiene students. In addition to teaching, Benvenuto has worked as a dental hygienist for more than 19 years. She is also a member of Dimensions of Dental Hygiene’s Peer Review Panel.
