Heather M. Tuthill, MPH, BSDH, RDH, is an assistant professor in the Division of Dental Hygiene at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, where she serves as the course director for nutrition, dental public health, and oral anatomy. She has 15 years of private practice experience in the Richmond area. Tuthill holds a Nutrition Specialist Certificate, and her research interests include nutrition, community dental health, and interprofessional collaboration. She is also a past president of the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association.
