Bruno G. Loos, DDS, MS, PhD, is a professor of periodontology and the course director for post-graduate periodontics in the Department of Periodontology at the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam, University of Amsterdam and Vrije University in the Netherlands. His research interests include the genetic and immunological aspects of periodontal diseases and the systemic effects of periodontitis.
