Barbara A. Tarwater, RDH, CDA, BASDH, is an associate professor in the
Dental Hygiene Program at Pensacola State College (PSC) in Pensacola, Fla, where she provides didactic and clinical education. She is pursuing a master's degree in dental hygiene at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Tarwater is a recipient of PSC's Teaching Excellence Award and a member of Dimensions of Dental Hygiene's Peer Review Panel.
