Audra E. Haynes, RDH, MPH, is an associate professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at New York City College of Technology (City Tech) where she serves as radiology course coordinator and clinical instructor for both freshman and senior dental hygiene students. An active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) since 1989, Haynes is also the faculty advisor for City Tech’s Student ADHA, current president of the New York City Dental Hygienists’ Association (NYCDHA), and president-elect of the New York State Dental Hygienists’ Association. She has served as NYCDHA’s educational chairperson since 2018. With more than 30 years of experience as a practicing public health and pediatric dental hygienist, Haynes is also a dental hygiene licensing examiner for the American Board of Dental Examiners.
