Annie Chitlall, RDH, BS, MHS, is an assistant professor and senior clinic coordinator in the Dental Hygiene Unit at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College in the Bronx, New York. She also works as a clinical dental hygienist. Chitlall’s research interests include periodontal instrumentation and teaching methodology in dental hygiene education. She is dedicated to educating the West Indian community about the importance of oral healthcare.
