Dimensions Board Member Receives Research Award
Dimensions of Dental Hygiene Editorial Advisory Board member and frequent contributor Ann Eshenaur Spolarich, PhD, RDH, FSCDH, received the 2018 Oral Health Research Award from the Oral Health Research Group of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) at the organization’s general session on July 26 in London.
Dimensions of Dental Hygiene Editorial Advisory Board member and frequent contributor Ann Eshenaur Spolarich, PhD, RDH, FSCDH, received the 2018 Oral Health Research Award from the Oral Health Research Group of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) at the organization’s general session on July 26 in London. She received the prestigious award due to her significant contributions to the advancement of oral health.
“I am incredibly honored to be recognized by my peers for my lifelong dedication to improving oral health,” said Spolarich. “I am grateful to the many mentors that I have had along the way who have both supported and encouraged me to pursue my research career. I hope to inspire my own students to pursue their research interests in finding new ways to achieve better oral health.”
Spolarich is a professor and director of research at the A.T. Still University Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa.
