EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
After reading this course, the participant should be able to:
- Define common, appropriate terms used when referring to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual/aromantic/agender (LGBTQIA+) community.
- Identify oral conditions that commonly affect LGBTQIA+ patients.
- Discuss changes that can be made in the dental office to create an inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
