Dimensions Welcomes a New Addition to Its Corporate Council
Dimensions of Dental Hygiene is pleased to announce the addition of L. Whitney Howerton, MDH, RDH, to its Corporate Council.

Dimensions of Dental Hygiene is pleased to announce the addition of L. Whitney Howerton, MDH, RDH—clinical education manager for Young Innovations Inc, a manufacturer and marketer of dental products based in Earth City, Missouri—to its Corporate Council. Active in organized dental hygiene, she has held multiple leadership roles on a local, state, and national level, and is a proud member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) and American Dental Education Association. Howerton is an adjunct clinical instructor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, and she has taught a wide variety of courses including local anesthesia, head, neck and dental anatomy, special patient care, and advanced instrumentation. She is a past recipient of ADHA’s Esther Wilkins Future Leader Award and the Tennessee Dental Hygienists’ Association’s Presidential Award. In 2015, Howerton wrote the article “Ensure the Oral Health of Children” for Dimensions’ annual supplement Perspectives on the Midlevel Practitioner.
