
Pfizer Requests EUA to Administer its COVID-19 Vaccine to Kids
Pfizer has applied for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to administer its COVID-19 vaccination to children ages 5 to 11. The FDA has already granted full approval to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine when administered to adults. In September, Pfizer submitted the results of a large-scale clinical trial that showed the vaccine encouraged an effective antibody response with few side effects among kids 5 to 11. The FDA and its independent advisory committee will meet on October 26 to decide on whether to grant the EUA. Click here to read more.
