Organizations Boost Access to Dental Care

Two organizations in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, have received grants from the Massachusetts Dental Society Foundation to help ensure low-income residents have access to quality dental care.

Volunteers in Medicine Berkshires in Great Barrington has been awarded $16,000, which will allow the organization’s dental hygienists to provide additional support to dentists at the clinic.

Hillcrest Dental Care in Pittsfield received $20,000 to purchase a portable dental unit. Clinicians will treat children at local schools and organizations across the county.
