
More Than a Third of Those Who Recover from COVID-19 Experience Long-Term Effects
An Oxford University study found that 37% of those who have recovered from COVID-19 illness still experience at least one side effect 3 months to 6 months later. The most commonly reported side effects were respiratory issues, malaise, pain, and anxiety; additional symptoms included headache, stomachache, and depression. Those hospitalized due to COVID-19 were more likely to experience a long-haul effect. The study included more than 270,000 people. Click here to read more.
