Loma Linda University Health has created a new health science institute in Hangzhou, China, to support the development of emerging health care professions in the country
Loma Linda University Health has created a new health science institute in Hangzhou, China, to support the development of emerging health care professions in the country. Established in partnership with Zhejiang University City College (ZUCC) and clinical training site, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, ZUCC’s School of Medicine will offer medical and nursing students additional education in dental hygiene, which will be embedded into the university’s Bachelor of Science degree programs.
ZUCC President Wei Wei, PhD, said ZUCC will be the first university in China to offer an academic program in dental hygiene.
Classes are scheduled to being in fall 2020.
