Jennifer Anne-Garcia Bohn, BS, RDH, is a full-time practicing dental hygienist and a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene student in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan (U-M) in Ann Arbor. She can be reached at:   garciaja@umich.edu.


Chris Haddlesey, BA, MBA, is an adjunct clinical lecturer at the U-M School of Dentistry and a full-time medical writer in the pharmaceutical industry. In his current role, he works with graduate dental hygiene students in the drafting, editing, and reviewing techniques necessary for scholarly publication.


Martha J. McComas, RDH, MS, is a clinical associate professor of dentistry and the interim assistant director of dental hygiene in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the U-M School of Dentistry. She has 18 years of clinical dental hygiene experience in general and periodontal practice. McComas also serves as Dimensions of Dental Hygiene’s patient education expert.
