Growth in Dental Practice Patient Volume Beginning to Slow

Data from the week of June 29 show that patient volumes in dental practices across the United States are about 70% of pre-pandemic rates, according to the American Dental Association Health Policy Institute. The survey of more than 4,300 dentists demonstrated that while patient volumes in the 27 states—in which dental practices have been providing elective treatment during the past 9 weeks—continue to grow, the rate has significantly slowed down, indicating a plateau may be on the horizon.
