Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests Are Up for Grabs

The United States federal government is once again making at-home COVID-19 tests available at no charge to all Americans. Eight tests, which will arrive via mail, are available per household at: covidtests.gov. Those who ordered four tests when they were initially offered in January 2022 can now order an additional four. Those who have never ordered free tests can receive all eight now. About half of all households in the US did order the initial four free tests. As the Omicron variant was still raging at the start of the year, this is not surprising.
