Flu Shots Should Not Be Forgotten During Global Pandemic

While the United States’ public health focus has been strictly on the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19, the flu shot remains an important tool in efforts to support the health of all Americans. The COVID-19 pandemic has had one beneficial effect: a significant drop in the number of flu cases. However, with most schools operating in-person and consistent moves toward more normalcy, the flu may be back in full force this winter.
