Dental Patient Volumes Experience Slight Decrease as the Pandemic Continues

A quarter (25.5%) of dental practices are currently seeing approximately 86% to 95% of their pre-pandemic patient volumes according to polling conducted by the American Dental Association Health Policy Institute during the week of November 16. Poll data also showed that 15.8% of practices were at more than 95%, and 26% were at 76% to 85% of pre-pandemic patient volumes. These percentages are a bit lower than those reported during September and October. Most dentists noted they have the ability to see more patients than are currently scheduled.
