EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Describe the clinical features of the human papillomavirus (HPV)-induced lesions that occur in the head and neck.
  2. Discuss the risks of transmission for HPV.
  3. Define the modes of transmission for HPV.
  4. Identify two preventive measures that can be used to drive down HPV infection rates.
