Canada Announces 2021 Dental Hygiene Superheroes

The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) has announced the winner of its fourth annual Dental Hygiene Superhero Competition.

The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) has announced the winner of its fourth annual Dental Hygiene Superhero Competition. Natasha Kellett, RDH, of Masset, British Columbia, was selected by a panel of judges as Canada’s Dental Hygiene Superhero.

According to her bio, Kellett works in Haida Gwaii at a nonprofit First Nations community clinic. She was instrumental in working with dentists and healthcare professionals in developing protocols and guidelines to support teledentistry services to help residents with urgent oral healthcare needs access care during the pandemic.

CDHA’s Dental Hygiene Superhero competition, sponsored by SENSODYNE, recognizes dental hygienist superheroes for the important work they do, and the roles they play as primary healthcare providers in communities across Canada. Visit dentalhygienecanada.ca/superherowinners to learn more.
