Sarah B. Hoerler, RDH, MS, is a practicing dental hygienist in the Department of Dental Specialties, Division of Periodontics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and a community faculty member in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has 18 years of clinical experience and has focused her research efforts on the oral healthcare of pregnant women and implant survival and/or pathology in relationship to consistency of dental hygiene therapy.
