Samuel B. Low, DDS, MS, MEd, is professor emeritus of periodontics

at the University of Florida in Gainesville and an associate faculty

member at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Fla. He is also a past president

of the American Academy of Periodontology. Low has 30 years of private

practice experience in periodontics and implant placement.
