Jamie Burgess-Flowers, MSW, LCSW, is a clinical assistant professor with dual faculty appointments at the UNC-CH School of Social Work and the Adams School of Dentistry. Her professional experience is in addressing behavioral health in positions ranging from project management to direct clinical practice. In addition to teaching graduate social work students, Burgess-Flowers teaches dental and dental hygiene students. She also provides direct patient care and provider consultation as the social work care coordinator in the Adams School of Dentistry student clinics, addressing barriers to care to improve patient outcomes.
