Frances McConaughy, RDH, MS, is a professor of dental hygiene in the Dumke College of Health Professions at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Her teaching interests include periodontology, research, and ethics. McConaughy also provides clinical instruction at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City. She is a recipient of the American Dental Hygienistsê Association (ADHA) Warner-Lambert Award and has served on the ADHA Board of Trustees. McConaughy has presented at meetings of the ADHA, International Dental Hygiene Federation, and the American Dental Education Association. She is the Western Trustee for Sigma Phi Alpha, the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society.
