Denise M. Messina, RDH, BS, MDH, is an assistant clinical professor at The Ohio State University (OSU), College of Dentistry in Columbus, where she teaches undergraduate dental hygiene students, degree-completion students, graduate dental hygiene students, and dental students. She is the director for courses in oral radiology, contemporary issues in dental hygiene, oral health and disease prevention, care for patients with special needs and practice management. Messina also cares for patients once a week at the OSU Dental Faculty Practice and has 40 years of experience in clinical practice.
