The Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA)—an international organization of oral health professionals dedicated to promoting oral health and well-being for people with special needs—offers a Special Care Dental Hygiene Fellowship Program for dental hygienists who work with patients who have special needs in both community and institutional settings.
