The June 2014 issue of the Journal of Evidence-Based Dental Practice, which publishes original articles and reviews of papers that discuss results and outcomes of clinical procedures and treatments, will include a special supplement, “The Annual Report on Dental Hygiene,” which focuses on the status of the dental hygiene profession.
Terri Tilliss, RDH, PhD, a professor in the Graduate Orthodontic Department at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Aurora and a Dimensions of Dental Hygiene Editorial Advisory Board member, is the guest editor of the supplement. Examining a variety of topics relative to the profession, the supplement also provides insight into the anticipated changes that will affect the practice of dental hygiene in the future.
