Kids Receive Dental Care At Major League Baseball Event
TeamSmile—an advocacy group that connects oral health practitioners with professional athletic organizations to provide dental care to underserved children throughout the United States—hosted an event on July 11 in collaboration with Major League Baseball’s All-Star Weekend in Cincinnati. During the event, 116 children received complimentary oral health assessments and treatment, including radiography, restorative care, prophylaxis, and sealant application. The children and their families also received oral hygiene instruction. Volunteers from Henry Schein Inc participated in the event and Henry Schein Cares, the global corporate social responsibility program of Henry Schein Inc, is a supporter of the 2015 TeamSmile program.
